Rebecca Stropoli

Rebecca is a freelance writer and editor with a strong background in business and finance content. She creates and edits both consumer-facing and B2B content, working with clients including large financial institutions, trade magazines and startups. 

Before committing to a freelance career, Rebecca spent almost eight years at Yahoo Finance, the world's most trafficked financial news site. She helped launch YF's personal finance portal and eventually became managing editor of the newsroom, overseeing breaking-news coverage, writing news stories, managing relationships with media partners and editing some of the top finance reporters in the industry. 

Previous to Yahoo Finance, Rebecca was an editor at Broadcasting & Cable magazine, the top trade covering the cable and television industry. Currently, along with writing and editing for platforms including Chicago Booth Review and LendingTree, she is a regular contributing editor for Financial Planning and Money Management Executive magazines. She has also worked as a copywriter on major marketing projects with clients including U.S. Trust/Bank of America, TD Ameritrade, ADP, TIAA and Janus Capital Group. 

Rebecca has been a judge for SABEW's annual Best in Business competition, and she completed a nine-week course in investment banking and principal investments with Leverage Academy. She received a bachelor's in English Literature from the University of Florida.
